- We do not accept benefit cards.
- The ticket is one-time. Visiting time is not limited within the opening hours, but repeated entry is not allowed.
- A ticket purchased on a given day is only valid on the corresponding date.

- Brno's Lights Tell Light Park is open daily from November 15, 2024 to January 12, 2025.
- The opening hours of the light exhibition are from 17:30 - 22:00
- Last entry is at 9:30 p.m
- The box office is open until 22:00
- On December 24, 2024, the light exhibition at the castle is closed
tour time
The tour of the Špilberk Castle of Light measures approx. 1.5 km. The tour usually lasts one hour.
The tour time is not limited.
Arrival
Špilberk Castle is located right in the center of Brno and is accessible from all sides.
You can use trolleybus no. 25 and 26, Tvrdého stop or tram no. 3, 4, 5, 6, 12 stop Šilingerovo náměstí and then continue on foot.

Unfortunately, entry to Špilberk Castle by car is prohibited. In some cases, it is possible to apply for an entry permit allowing a vehicle (up to 6.5t) to enter the castle through the entrance gate from the direction of Gorazdova Street. More information +420 542 123 611
Parking
For parking, we recommend using the DOMINI PARK parking garage, Husova 712/14a. Alternatively, the Besední parking lot, Ludvík Kundery square, or the Husova parking lot or the Velký Špalíček covered parking lot, Dominikánská 352/1. The parking lot is a 7-10 minute walk from the castle.
Dogs
You are welcome with dogs. Even if your four-legged friend is well-behaved, in consideration of other visitors, it is necessary to keep the dog on a leash with a muzzle. Don't forget the bags!
Taking pictures
Taking pictures or filming a video within the light exhibition Lights tell Brno is possible without charge or restrictions. On the contrary, we will be happy if you tag us on social networks #svetlavypraveji @svetlavypraveji. We will be happy to share your creations on our profiles.
Refreshment
In the area of the light exhibition, you will find many places where you can have refreshments or eat. A bistro, a Castle restaurant and a snack stand await you.
Barriers
Due to the fact that this is an original medieval castle, the space is unfortunately a barrier. It is necessary to take into account the stairs.
Toilets and changing table
There are two fully equipped toilets with changing tables for small children in the area.
Ban on drones and scooters
For safety reasons, it is strictly forbidden to fly a drone or ride an electric scooter in the exhibition.

By entering the premises, visitors to the "story of lights" event agree to these visitor regulations and are obliged to comply with the following rules:
Obligations of site visitors:
- Entry to the premises at your own risk.
- When entering the area, visitors must present an original ticket with a QR code. In the case of applying for a discount, it is necessary to identify yourself with a document showing a photo (OP, driver's license, passport, student card, ISIC and ZTP card, ZTP/P, etc.), ZTP/P has a reduced price entry, escort to the ZTP /P has free entry.
- Visitors are obliged to behave respectfully towards other visitors, not to destroy or otherwise treat lighting or other installations or property on the premises or the property of other persons, and to maintain cleanliness and order.
- Every visitor is obliged to comply with the visitor rules, regulations and instructions of the organizer, law enforcement or security services, firefighters, members of the rescue service, etc. In case of non-compliance, the organizer reserves the right to immediately expel unruly visitors from the park without compensation.
- Parents are responsible for the behavior and safety of children upon entering the complex and for the entire duration of their visit.
- Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult (parent, adult or educational supervisor) during the entire visit to the park. Children and minors are responsible for their parents or an adult or educational escort during the entire visit to the park, even if the children over 15 years old will stay in the park alone.
- Children's groups must have at least one adult supervisor for every 10 children in the group.
- Dogs are allowed to enter the park free of charge, they must be on a leash and with a muzzle under the supervision of the owner. Free running of animals is prohibited. The owner must clean up the excrement after them.
- In the event of an evacuation, visitors must follow the organizer's instructions.
- In case of ice, take extra care. Also, be aware of possible falls of snow and ice from roofs, installations or trees in the area.
Prohibitions:
Upon entry, the visitor may be subject to a security check.
forbidden to bring to the exhibition:
- weapons of any kind, sharp objects, imitation weapons, as well as objects that can be used as weapons (including children's toys);
- alcohol, drugs or other toxic substances;
- own drinks and food;
- fireworks, including cannons, crackling balls, firecrackers, etc.;
- glass and pressurized containers. Bring weapons of any kind into the premises, as well as objects that can be used as weapons.
Furthermore, it is strictly prohibited:
- fly a drone or move on electric scooters;
- enter non-visitor areas;
- climb trees or touch or otherwise manipulate light installations;
- destroy and damage any facilities and equipment on the premises, including damaging things by labeling, sticking and spraying them;
- enter attractions under the influence of alcohol and drugs;
- consume narcotic substances in all areas of the park;
- use open fire;
- throw away garbage and cigarette butts outside the designated place;
- intentionally damage or tamper with safety or fire protection devices, as well as water or electricity distributions.

Tickets with QR codes:
- Each visitor receives a ticket with a unique QR code, which entitles them to enter the premises during valid opening hours with the option to leave at any time. The ticket is one-time.
- In the case of an invalid QR code, the visitor will not be allowed to enter the premises.
- Forging a ticket is a crime.
- Paid entrance and service fees are non-refundable, the ticket is non-exchangeable.
- The holder of the ticket gives consent to the fact that photographs, films or video recordings from the premises of the park with his person may be used by the organizer for documentary and promotional purposes, without monetary compensation.
Liability for damages and consequences of violation of the visiting rules:
- In the event of a violation of the visitor regulations, the operator may recover damages caused by the visitor in accordance with the relevant legal regulations, including lost profit (e.g. cancellation of the event) or may issue a fine.
- If visitors to the premises are under the influence of alcohol, they assume all responsibility in the event of injury.
- In case of gross violation of the visitor regulations, the organizer reserves the right to ask the visitor to leave the premises.
- The participant is obliged, at the request of the organizer or a person authorized by him (in particular the security service), to enable a check of compliance with the rules of the visiting regulations.
- In the event of a violation of the visitor regulations, the organizer or persons authorized by him are entitled to immediately expel the visitor from the premises without compensation. The visitor is obliged to leave the premises at the request of the organizer or a person authorized by him.
The right of the operator to close the exposure in case of adverse weather conditions:
- In case of adverse weather conditions, for example strong wind, heavy rain, blizzard, hail and the like, which could lead to the risk of injury for visitors, the operator has the right to temporarily close the exhibition for safety reasons.
